Utbildningens innehåll

In the programme, subjects and subject teaching studies, educational science and practice-oriented training are alternately rotated. Subject studies in modern languages ​​give you, among other things, oral and written language skills and knowledge of grammar and language structure as well as Spanish culture and literature. The subject-educational studies focus on learning and how learning is organised in the classroom. The studies in education science prepare for the professional role as a teacher. They deal with, among other things, the organisation of the school, learning, teaching, leadership, grading and social relationships.

Kontakt med arbetslivet

Part of the profession learns you best in the business at a school. In the operational-based education (VFU), you will learn, among other things, to plan, implement and evaluate teaching at a school, usually in the vicinity of the hometown. VFU totals 20 weeks of training and supplements the theoretical studies.

Studera utomlands

We offer you the opportunity to study at one of our partner universities or find an internship as part of the Erasmus programme. You can also make your VFU/practice abroad in teacher training. One or two semesters as an exchange student or implemented practice-based training within the EU are merits that many employers welcome.

Vad blir du efter utbildningen?

A subject teaching degree gives you primarily the opportunity to work with teaching. An degree focusing on the upper secondary school gives competence to teach in grades 7-9 of the compulsory school and in the upper secondary school, in the subjects that are included in the degree. But a teacher training also opens the doors to other assignments within private and public activities.
